Yeah!just came back from Ubin. It was really fun, save for the fact that i'm really tired and i din bathe. Yup, had lots of fun there ",) And it's the pple who made it so! Hmm, glad i had a chance to take some time off to leave city life for a while. Really nice to be in touch with nature... Somehow the trees, the dirt tracks, the stars, the sand, the sea always seem to be able to soothe my senses :) Somehow when i'm over there, i'm able to stop and smell the roses :)

And i got to exercise too!!! Haha urm chen yunxin here never exercises and is getting fatter and fatter by the day. So hopefully the trek to the campsite + the amazing race + the trek back helped me to burn some calories :) But then again i ate so much there that i think i'm even fatter now :) Haha the food we cooked was just too good to resist. Hmm usually i dont eat camp food cos it's always half cooked and tastes horrible but this time we were all experts liao. Heh. had spaghetti, macoroni with campbell soup and sausages and button mushroom and luncheon meat etc etc. and kenneth's scrambled eggs was just yi ji bang :) haha cannot eat such things at home cos my mom would definitely complain that it's too salty and unhealthy but over there all of us just din care and tucked into cans and cans of msg, oil, salt, preservatives all added together. haha hmm i'm fat fat now but i'm happy bout it :)

Played lots of games on the beach. It reminded me of our OG outing. Heh i think the sun, sea water and sand added together maded everybody crazzzyyy and i'm sure i went wild on the beach. It was really fun. The skit was hilarious too. Haha the grps had to come up with cheers and the camp committee grp just sang this singaporean doe-re-mi song that was so hilarious. Heh cant remember some lines but it goes something like this:
do- (a deer a female deer)
re - the sun of singapore
mi - rebus, a malay mee
fa - from jurong to johor
so - that follows every fa
la - ( i forgot what they sung)
ti - tarik with copi oh
and we're back at doh oh oh oh
C-O-M-M-I-T-T-E.E
the other grps came up equally funny stuff so i spent the whole night laughing :)

Slept at about 3 after playing rounds and rounds of card games. Some of them already sleeping in the tents so i had no place and had to sleep outside. But it was superb! I never slept outdoors without shelter b4 and i tried it for the first time yesterday! Just lay on the ground sheet and slept! Haha my eyes were looking straight into the clear night sky with all the stars scattered around and it was beautiful, just beautiful! And the stars there are exceptionally bright! Wow, i'll nv forget that night! Yup, so i slept under the stars.... but it was really cold brrrr.... luckily IZ had an extra sleeping bag and we used it as our bei.

Heh, Ubin was fun fun :) Hope i can go back again next time :)
