I haven blogged in a long long time... Sigh i din know i had to cover so many things for CA8 :( :( :( sob sob sob....
Anyway today wasnt a good day... think my brain wasnt functioning that well cos i din really eat my breakfast... Only took a small portion of the chee cheong fan my mom bought cos it's not as good as the one they sell at the Marine Parade hawker centre... Hai should have thought the better of it cos the other time i went without breakfast i nearly fainted during PDP. And today i felt faint too... Sigh, think there's something wrong with me - maybe i'm claustrophobic. Whenever the curtains are drawn and the doc talks for some time i'll just start feeling giddy... =( And that wasnt the only thing i felt really stooopid during the Q&A session... Basically i think our doc thinks that PDP is graded so he'll question us in a round-robin style every session, for more than an hr somemore. And i basically dunno my stuff well so whenever he directs his question at me i either give him the blank face, say i'm not sure or give him an answer which is really silly... =( The first thing he asked me to do was to define diabetes and i din even know how to do that lorh... hmm think i really malu-ed myself... But he's really good cos he builds up on my concepts and now i'm determined to read more and try to remember the stuff i study... And we saw nice nice cases... today there was this guy with an enlarged kidney and the other time we palpated an enlarged liver... sometimes i just feel quite sorry for these guys. The old man we saw today said he had 2 grps of 7 b4 us examining him :) I seriously think he's quite poor thing cos he's supposed to get discharged this afternoon but suddenly the whole world comes down to take his history, palpate his abdomen and discuss about his case... =)
I haven exactly been studying... had youth grp meeting yesterday, meeting my harmoc frens tmr, and i still have driving lessons and everything!! so no time! sigh sigh sigh... this time thing is really getting on my nerves... I think i like physio and Peter Hwang made Renal physio really interesting but now i'm just like trying to cram everything in without appreciating the subject =( and then i wanna read up more about head and neck too cos it's really fascinating =) and prof raj demonstrated that 2 projector thingy to us during our pre-lab class. Wah seh he invented it in the 80s leh... Super Zai... the plasticine pictures are flashed on alternate projectors and they blend into each other like the flash movies but this was done when there wasnt such a technology so he was like a real pioneer. The tentorium and sinuses were being built up in front of our eyes and it's really amazing! =) He said he'll show us some of the plasticine structures he made if they haven crumbled apart... u know he even put wire structures in some of them so they wouldnt sag?? Too marvellous for words... He's such a dedicated teacher...
I need to get down to studying!!! Heh so i guess i wont be here for a while =)
