Gor gor's down with dengue... in hospital right now... hope his platelet count goes up soon. Hmmz it was 39 this aft, safety level is 40 or something like that... If it doesnt get better they may have to do blood transfusion and that sounds scary to me. He's pretty much ok right now i think... yeah with me turning myself into a maid at his beck and call what more can he ask for?

Heh actually i think I'm a pretty bad sister =) Sat he started running a fever and the doc told him it was flu. By mon it still hasnt gone down so he asked me whether i thought it was dengue. Oh at this pt, I was happily revising my MB notes so i took great pride in thinking that i knew all about dengue. So I asked him if he had bone pain he said no leh... then i matter of factly told him that it shouldnt be dengue cos well he should have some bone pain and rash among others... oh well being the smarter of us 2 he naturally doubted me and started looking through my notes himself and told me he had acute fever + headache among the symptoms... Stubborn me insisted he does not have dengue and told my parents so too =) Thank God they're smart enough to bring him to another doc instead of trusting this daughter of theirs whom they spent a hefty sum to educate. Yeah and the latter part is easy to guess: blood tests positive, warded into hospital and now he's under the care of the real medical proffessionals... At least I'm a bit more fang xin now for they're monitoring his condition =)
So basically, moral of the story is Chen Yunxin you should just shut up lah and stop poking her big fat nose into things she's not sure of. And this proves another pt: I'm going to fail my CA miserably cos I have no idea at all whether I'm understanding what I learnt or not...

After spending much of my 20 years of my life squabbling with him I kinda miss him being at home... Not that he was at home often last year but it's just different now... No one to watch TV with, no one to binge together with, no one to scold me when I'm driving, no one to snatch food from etc etc. Miss seeing that rolly polly at home. Miss scolding and getting scolded by him... Miss forever seeing someone watching TV and proving to me that i'm not a slacker cos there's always someone worse than me. Yeah sibling bond i guess...

Anyway I've concluded I'll get dengue sooner or later... My place is super hot spot. Hmm now my house reeks of mosquito coil, insect repellent and insecticide... And my hair stinks too... eeee i cant stand the smell lorh but why the mosquitoes seem to love it? They refuse to fly away leh... Prob I'll spend the next few days hibernating somewhere to mug... Haiz I'm dying for CA. as in seriously. haven been able to sit down to study... and i'm still fighting a mosquito war somemore...
