2 wks into sch... I'm enjoying my posting quite a lot... Went there without any expectations at first cos almost every senior wud say tt the place we're at now is a cannot-make-it place for surgery. But then i guessed tt made us content with all the things we're having now and we're a happy cg =)

They split up our original CG up... Quite sad cos me and di got pulled away from the rest of our frens. But i guess it may be a gd thing in another sense. Less friction. So at least we wun turn from friends to enemies. Miss SM lots though. No nan dao! partner... But i found someone on the same wavelength as me though. Haha we spend all our time laughing at the new Mr and Mrs Cheep Cheep in our CG =) Scandals help bond pple together i realise. But anyway if it works out i declare my matchmaking skills superb. Haha i seriously think i shud change profession.

We're tagging along a really really really nice team. Cudnt ask for anything more. When we follow them ard for ward rounds they'll take time off sometimes to explain things to us. All the patients like them alot, hah there was this lady who'll put on lipstick every morning before the doctors visit her. But cant blame her. Tt doctor is sooo charming. And he has a whole collection of winnie-the-pooh ties. So v cute. Even at the clinics his bedside manner is superb. And i'm not the only one gg gaga over him, our whole cg is.

Found out tt the patients here are really diff from the ones from our previous posting. They dun detest medical students. In fact sometimes i feel they enjoy our company and it makes us feel really good. Cos they px pool is quite small we have time to follow them up and visit them everyday so after a while we becmoe frens. Haha the 4 of us particularly like this lady. We'll find time to talk to her everyday and gossip with her. Now she even knows bout the new couple sprouting up and even joins in our teasings =p Then there are others whom we'll give a pat on their shoulders and just make them feel better. Then they'll slowly open up to us. I think tt's what makes this profession so special. Tt human touch to it.

I think i'll miss this place when i have to leave it one day. But we shall enjoy whatever's left of it =) Maybe it's true tt when u dun expect much u'll get much more out of it. =)
