All good things must come to an end and our stint doing our 1st really posting in our life is drawing to a close. Kinda miss this whole place. It's such a nice cosy environment. One where we can play and learn at the same time. And it's this posting whereby i learnt how to feel more for the patients. I think we're all imitators. We become what we see. We learn from those who walked through our lives and we're really fortunate to be able to learn from these great minds. Watching how gentle our tutors are to their patients and how the patients reciprocate really warmed our hearts and make us want to emulate them.

Developed lots of crushes over these few weeks. Haha it became so obvious tt i somehow feel some of our tutors are scared of us. But oh well.... I think they'll remember us. Heh we're tt grp of troublesome little kids who tag alongside them every second of the day, even ridding them of their private life. There's this Dr Pooh who's really really cute. Heh Heh. Our v first crush. And he's ever so willing to teach and share with us whatever he knows. But he's such a big shot he's always away from hospital so we kinda de-crushed a little. Then there's Dr Smurf. Wah. First time i'm sooooo impressed by a doc's knowledge. I know all of them have many yrs of experience and sprout out all the textbk stuff. But he's just diff. The way he delivers his tutorials are just so diff he always leaves us gasping in awe aft each lesson. And suddenly we can internalize those stuff tt make no sense when we read bout them. And he reads Harry Potter. Haha. He must have learnt some skill of spparating from the bk cos he always seem to be able to fly off aft each lesson. Only one amg our team of tutors we haven got to have lunch one-on-one with =) And then Dr Grover! Aiyoh such a hao hao xian sheng. Can see the nurses gushing aft him. And i'm jealous. At the clinics he'll make sure we sit down and said he'll feel uncomfortable if we were standing. And he lets us do stuff too... =p

And then the last one. I think we still haven linked him with any cartoon character yet so he shall be nameless for the time being. But anyway he's starting to go cuckoo with us. To think when we first started our posting he was soooo serious. Now he goes for lunch with us and makes lame jokes. Haha then he took me for my test. Tt was the ultimate. I think i malu-ed myself left right upside down. Our test was quite slack. 2 pple go clerk a case together and then present separately to our tutors. It was ok. Colon CA. I heard the hx so many times i din want to see any more such cases. Cos it's so saddening. But it was our test subject so we just had to clerk him. So the history wasnt the problem. Then i presented to him. And then aft tt he started asking some qn. Heh for a while i thought i cud ans them cos we were preparing it a little b4 hand. Then he came to the abdomen. I started telling him I cant do the proper examination cos post-op case so we were more inclined to look for post-op complications. Bingo. Dug hole no. 1. Started asking on post-op complications which i happen to know nuts abt. Heh then he asked post-op fever. ... Mind was blank. Then for some reason i blurted out ohhh... wind water walking wound wondrous drugs. (Yeah thanks to Grey's Anatomy, the show.... haha. i dun even know why i remember such things instead of textbk stuff) He looked up from tt paper he was scribbling on and went Hmmm? The hole went deeper. So i tried to climb out saying more nonsenses. In the end it turned out to be a tutorial session with him teaching me all the causes for 1st day post-op fever 3rd day 5th day etc. Haha. But he was really really nice. Grinning at me everytime i say i dunno. Then he say try lah and then try to lead me to the ans but my brain is only pea-sized. Hee oh wells. Anyway he was so nice when he cud be mean tt he became my 4th and latest crush haha. Yarh and i realise i shudnt watch too many shows. They brainwash me =)

Then there are also those pxs who touch ur hearts. Hearing this nice uncle sing que sera sera whatever will be will be. I nearly cried then. They all have stories to tell. Being in a small hospital is nice cos we get to sit by the bedside and hear their tales instead of just jumping to the few specific chapters and then missing out on the other aspects. They're all v cute pple. And there's this uncle who's been there since the first day of our posting. Had some wound complication. Most of the time he's comatose. Then tt day on his 50th POD he actually muttered something to us. Amazing. And today when we told him to take care and get well soon he actually nodded his head. He nv let go. He's just so strong. We're all v proud of him.

Hah my post v v long liao... Getting naggy as usual. But i think i wun be here till the end of the next posting so i'd better say more first. Anyway thanks P LL E E D for being such a wunnerful CG too. Enjoyed life at AH so much more cos of u guys. And then the lanning sessions. Wah seh. We're hard core lorh. Went to tt place so many times. Haha. But gg aft each other with the knife bonded all of us hahah =p we'll have more of these next time i'm sure =)
